Very easy and affordable
Very easy and affordable. I ordered a couple of pairs of slides and ended up not receiving a couple of the pairs but after reaching out I received a refund on the purchase within the next couple of days.

DSW does not take back defective shoes
I bought a pair of flip-flops. Rocket dogs at the DSW in Garland, Texas. I wore them for one day, and they hurt. They left a blister but I had no other shoes to wear so i had to wear them for the day They are defective. The manager of the store said i could not return them because i wore them and she couldn't resale them. I repeated that they are defective, and she again said she can't resale them because i wore them. So i am wondering why she would resale defective shoes. And why she could not refund my money. I guess they dont stand by their shoes. You can see the lump on the left one thats defective

Charging more than MSRP? Not cool.
I purchased a pair of Teva flip flops for $37.99. I loved them and wore them immediately when I got home. I then noticed the original tag from Teva stating MSRP $35. What? I called DSW and spoke to a manager Monica on June 15. She suggested I return them since I was unhappy. I said I wasn't unhappy with the shoes but with the fact DSW charged MORE than the MSRP which I had never seen done before. I asked for a credit. No can do, she said. I then called Teva and spoke to a very helpful representative who said that charging more is "allowed" and that DSW is more expensive than other stores selling their merchandise. Lesson learned. And it's not the $3.00, folks. It's the point of it all.

Received used shoes that were still crusty
OK I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks, they said the wrong ones. Call customer service, they are say OK we are sending you the correct pair in a shipping label to send back the old ones. They even expedited shipping I received a pair of used sandals that DSW does not even sell. I'm talking crust and all it really looks like whoever packs the orders took off their shoes and shoved them in a Birkenstock box because both the box and the bag the shoes were in say size 9 color black and I received a size 8 navy blue sandal call customer service again completely livid they claim they sent out a new pair. Yeah I have not received an email showing shipping. I still cannot believe this happened.

Triple billing
I bought 2 pair of shoes online my card was debited 133.42 on May 30. On June 1 my card was debited 64.04 and 133.42 again! I had to have my bank reverse the 133.42. I just found out my shoes shipped separately so the 64.04 debit is correct I'm to get another debit for 69.38 but I still have a pending hold on my account for 133.42! I buy online all the time and have never experienced anything like this. I will not use DSW again

Horrible online experience
Probably the worst online sales experience I've ever had. Never received the item and was promised it over and over and over. Do not order from them! Cannot add proof of purchase when you do not receive an item.

I have a gift card that I got from my…
I have a gift card that I got from my employer for DSW. I have stopped by several times to include today. I finally saw a pair of Van's that I really liked. I went to try them on but there was one of those electronic devices on the shoes that had been locked over the laces. I couldn't try them on because the top of the shoe would not open enough to try them on. Well, if you have a theft problem then you are safe. You didn't, however, get a sale! I will choose a different store the next time my employer offers a gift card.

Poor Customer Service
I bought a pair of shoes that completely fell apart after 5 months. But what is even worse is that when I reached out to DSW they said there was nothing they could do about it, no refund or exchange. They don't stand behind the products they sell. I've been a long time DSW customer but this will definitely be my last purchase from them. Do better DSW.

DSW’s online returns take far too long…
DSW’s online returns take far too long to process. 7-10 Business days after they have received the return is no longer an industry standard. DSW should get on board with the speed and efficacy of competitors like Amazon!

WORST STORE EVER
WORST STORE EVER. Do not shop at DSW. They suck! My mom tried to return a pair of shoes that she had bought a week prior and they refused to take them back saying that the return was denied. She had the receipt and the tags or price label was still in tact, the shoes were not worn. There was no reason for the return to be denied, the store manager came out and said he couldn't help her and told her she needed to call some number and that's all he could say. My mom was furious! They are an awful store to shop at, worst customer service EVER. I will never shop there again myself. They suck so bad. Stay away!

Coupons are worthtless
Their coupon system is either a scam or programmed by developers who should find another career. I was trying to buy something for Mother's day and my wife pointed out shoes she wanted and a coupon code she'd like to use (I hate coupons, but they make her happy, so..). Entered the Mother's Day code, said the order didn't qualify. My wife said no problem, she has another code, great - enter it: sorry, can't be combined with another offer (the one I didn't qualify for apparently). Crap, so it didn't drop the one that didn't work. No problem, incognito mode, recreated the basket, applied the new coupon - sorry, already used. Geez, do it right or don't do it at all. I actually paid full price and just said I got the discount to make her happy - we share all finances so it wasn't like I was being cheap, she just didn't want them for full price.

Only partial refund for returns
I bought a pair of slip-on shoes which, while the correct size, had such a narrow opening that getting them on my feet was nearly impossible. I returned them in pristine condition (including the box) and received a refund that was less than I had paid. When I contacted them, it turned out they charge an $8.50 fee for returns. DSW clearly doesn't really stand by what they sell.

Online order
I am extremely disappointed in DSW's service. I placed an order online and after not receiving it after a month I reached out to find out where my order was. I went round and round for a month trying to get my boots. I bought them when they were half off for my sisters bachelorette weekend. I am so disappointed because they said they were shipping them two other times. I receive an email today stating they refunded my money if I wanted to make a new purchase. Hell no I don't! Are you kidding me! Less than two weeks from my sisters Bachelorette and I don't have them I am so furious and will never order from them again.

Nicole and Anna at Robinson Town Center DSW in Pittsburgh ROCK!
Thank you Nicole and Anna. You exchanged my 1 month old defective Converse high tops that Northway on the Block store North of Pittsburgh would do NOTHING for me. The Block's manager had zero customer service skills. There is discretion when dealing with defective product but she did not exercise any! So, I called Nicole and Anna's store and they went above and beyond to exchange defective shoes for new ones. Full credit for the defective ones and then a discount on the replacement shoes. That's what I call customer service. DSW's customer service phone service offers zero assistance for sales from stores. That's where the Block's manager sent me to. Thanks for nothing DSW at the Block (North Hills of Pittsburgh). I don't recommend going there, ever. Drive the extra few miles to go where they treat you like an actual customer.
